Not enough hours in the day

As much as I try to make goals for myself, I just never seem to have enough hours in the day.  I have two precious days off and yet no time to rest, I go back to work exhausted.  I think I'm going to look into having someone come in to clean up the home, I don't have time for that.  And finally I start my life again, as I have been encouraged to do. So I join committees, volunteer for stuff, and yet when I try to pursue these things, life is holding me back, I'm feeling guilty. I shouldn't though, because if I'm going to move forward in my life,  I have to grab opportunity and run with it.
What an awkward thing life is sometimes, no all the time!!

When I see your face, there's not a thing that I would change...girl you're amazing just the way you are...and when you smile..."

I love these words from the popular song!   It tells me that there are people out there who accept you for who you are, and that alone can make one's day!

I heard someone asking someone else this yesterday and I keep laughing everytime I think about it. In Toronto the TTC is the Toronto Transit Commision (public transportation).

What does TTC mean?   Take the car!!

Out Live Your Life - by Max Lucado

As the title of the book says, we were meant to outlive our life; to make a difference, no matter how small, in the life of someone else. If we think hard enough, we all can recall that special someone, maybe a stranger, who left an impact in our life.

Before I started reading this book, I really didn't know what to expect. I figured I'd learn something dynamic that would enhance my life or may be leave something behind after I'm gone. What I found basically is what I already knew but maybe forget sometimes. This book is about 'doing unto others'. It is a reminder that we are not placed on this earth to be solitary players, but to look out for each other, do a kindness, perform a random act of kindness, lend a hand. If we call ourselves Christian then we should act like one; people should see Jesus in us.

This book was easy to read and could be enjoyed by anyone of any faith. We all have the capability of taking our head out of the sand, to help others.

I was sent a complimentary copy of this book by Thomas Nelson Publishers through Booksneeze so that I may review it and give my opinion.
